<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Water is an important component to living a healthy
lifestyle, but who doesn’t enjoy a nice refreshing soda every now and then?
Although having an occasional soda isn’t detrimental to your health, there are
so many benefits to drinking water. Water aids in the regulation of body
temperature and transports nutrients and oxygen through the body removing
harmful toxins and waste products. Have you ever noticed when you’re feeling
thirsty you also feeling slightly tired or fatigued? Dehydration can have
negative effects on the body such as fatigue, and can also elevate the body
temperature. On average, a person should consume at least 8 eight-ounce glasses
of water each day, and possibly even more if you partake in heavy physical
activity. Sodas on the other hand, when consumed in large quantities, can
provoke health complications. Ample amounts of sugar may cause a spike in blood
pressure, which causes an increase in insulin, forcing the liver to work
overtime. At this point, the sugar is then converted into fat and over time may
lead to a more serious medical disorder: diabetes. The next time you’re thirsty
and want a cold and satisfying beverage, reach for a nice glass of water! Your
body will thank you for it! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

due to cold weather. Which is why we would like to remind you that it is
important to continue to drink up to 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water a day for

food as the temperature drops. Water is needed to aid digestion of the
food and also to keep your skin hydrated and looking radiant through the dry

alternatives like drinking hot water with a lemon or adding more soups to your

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Recycling is an important and necessary action we as society
can do to preserve our environment. Here at <a href="http://mountainglacier.com/">Mountain Glacier</a> we are proud
supporters of the green movement and use only 100 percent recyclable plastics
for our bottled water products. We also recycle all bottles returned to our
facility! Consider helping the environment by making a few small adjustments to
your everyday lifestyle. Instead of individual bottles of water- opt for a
5-gallon jug and use an environmentally friendly, reusable, water bottle! This
is still a refreshing and enjoyable way to drink water without the usage of
excess bottles. When going green you can also “think outside of the bottle.”
Instead of receiving paper statements or printed receipts, consider going
paperless with e-statements! Reduce your usage of Styrofoam products and
consider carpooling whenever possible. Remember, even the smallest gestures make
a BIG difference. <br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Since it’s
hard to determine when, where, or how, a disaster will occur, we believe it’s
always best to prepare for the unknown. Since September is national Disaster
Preparedness month,</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> we would like to encourage our readers (and viewers) to
make a plan and build a kit! Water is not only an essential part of survival,
it’s also a necessary component to your emergency supply kit! Since it’s hard
to imagine the type of occurrence your kit would be used for, it’s best to keep
a significant amount of water easily available in the event your water supply
is contaminated, limited, or unavailable due to a disaster. When preparing your
kit, it’s safe to assume that every person in your household would require a
minimum of 1 gallon of water per day for at least 3 days. Use each gallon of
water for consumption as well as sanitation. Depending on a person’s physical
condition, activity, diet and even the climate in which you live, additional
water may be required. We recommend using bottled water as opposed to gallons
of water because they are lightweight, easily transportable, and limit the
amount of waste. It is best to store your emergency kit in a dark, cool
temperature space.Creating a solid, quickly accessible, emergency kit could
save not only your life, but also the lives of others around you in the event
of an emergency. Other items you will want to include in your disaster kit are:<o:p></o:p></span><br />
